Welcome to AskingMing (hereinafter "MING" or "the Platform"). By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

MING is an online platform that deeply integrates traditional Chinese BaZi (Eight Characters) astrology with modern artificial intelligence. Our main services include:

• BaZi Chart Generation — Generate your Eight Characters chart based on your birth data using orthodox Zi Ping algorithms.
• AI Chart Interpretation — Personalized AI-powered analysis of your chart, covering personality traits, fortune trends, and more.
• Fortune Analysis — Major Luck Pillars, annual fortune readings, and cyclical trend references.
• Compatibility Matching — BaZi-based relationship compatibility analysis between two individuals.
• AI Chat Assistant — Conversational answers to your astrology-related questions.
• Credits and Subscriptions — Credit-based consumption and subscription plans to unlock premium features.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

AI Content Disclaimer

Please read the following carefully:

1. All chart interpretations, fortune analyses, and AI chat responses provided by MING are generated by artificial intelligence and are for reference, entertainment, and self-awareness purposes only.
2. Content on this platform does not constitute and should not be construed as medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or any other form of professional advice.
3. Astrology is a traditional cultural practice whose accuracy has not been validated by modern science. AI interpretations are based on traditional astrology theory (such as Di Tian Sui, Zi Ping Zhen Quan, and Yuan Hai Zi Ping) and statistical analysis, but we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of interpretation results.
4. You should not make major life decisions (such as medical, marital, or investment decisions) based solely on this platform's analysis. We recommend considering your personal circumstances and consulting qualified professionals when necessary.
5. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept the above limitations.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and ensure the truthfulness of your information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach at support@askingming.com.
• Each user is limited to one account. Sharing or transferring accounts is prohibited.

Birth Profile Data

• The birth time, gender, and other profile information you provide will be used for BaZi chart generation and AI interpretation. Please ensure accuracy.
• The platform is not responsible for chart deviations caused by inaccurate birth time input.
• You may modify or delete your saved birth profiles at any time through your account settings.

Credits and Payment

• Credit System — Certain premium features (such as detailed interpretations and AI conversations) require credits. Credits can be obtained through purchase or participation in activities.
• Credit Validity — Purchased credits are valid from the date of purchase, with specific validity periods shown on the purchase page. Promotional credits may have shorter validity periods.
• Subscription Plans — Subscribers receive monthly credit allowances and exclusive features, billed in advance for the selected billing period.
• Refund Policy — Consumed credits are non-refundable. Unused paid credits may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase, subject to our refund policy.
• You are responsible for providing accurate payment information. All transactions are securely processed by third-party payment providers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Use automated tools (such as crawlers or scripts) to bulk access or extract platform data.
• Resell, distribute, or use platform-generated content for commercial purposes without explicit authorization.
• Use platform content for superstitious activities, fraud, or spreading fear-inducing claims.

Intellectual Property

• The MING platform and its original content (including but not limited to algorithm engines, AI models, interface design, copy, and graphics) are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• Intellectual property rights to chart interpretations and fortune analyses generated by the platform belong to MING. Users may reference and share such content within personal use scope.

Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms, with notification via email.
• You may close your account at any time through your account settings. After account closure, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Upon termination, consumed credits and used subscription services are non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

1. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.
2. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
3. Any decisions you make based on platform content are made at your own responsibility.
4. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service or by email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operates. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
