The World

A dancer moves at the center of the laurel wreath as the four holy creatures bear witness — the World closes the Major Arcana journey with completion and integration. An important cycle is finishing beautifully: goals achieved, lessons internalized, identity whole. Celebrate it, then begin the next journey carrying your whole self.

Reversed, the World speaks of completion one step short: the project nears its end yet refuses to close, or it is finished on paper while the sense of completion never arrives. Find the missing piece of the puzzle — perhaps an unspoken goodbye, or a review you never sat down to do.
